The veterans run takes place at Pittsburg landing on the Snake river. In the past it has occured once in the spring before permit season and once in the fall after permit season.
The boats and vets are paired up with captain’s that are interested in fishing whereas other bots will just be running the river. WWA provides the meals on Saturday night. The tradition on Saturday is for a fish feed, provided fish are caught Saturday. We are always looking for volunteers for this event
