The WWA hosts the dinner each year on the Snake River near Glenn’s Ferry, Idaho. The event is held on a weekend in mid-March, with overnight camping at Three Island Crossing State Park. The Fest includes a river run on Saturday, followed by a potluck dinner on Saturday night. Most folks stay over and run again on Sunday. The run starts early on Saturday; so people typically arrive Friday evening. The launch is at the Glenn’s Ferry boat ramp, and the run proceeds up the Snake River to a point between Pilgrim Rapids and Peg Leg Rapids. This is a popular event and typically, about fifty boats participate.
The run is not exceedingly difficult, but there are a couple of rapids that warrant proper respect and due diligence.

We have again rented the expo building at the fairgrounds in Glenn’s Ferry for dinner Saturday night and Breakfast Sunday morning. We can also camp at the fairgrounds for $15 a night with electrical hook up or $20 with sewer added. Camping spots are first come, first served, no reservations. You may also stay at the multiple other campgrounds including the State park. We will have a drivers meeting Friday night to decide who will be launching at King hill or Glenn’s Ferry ramps. And break into groups.
